baptist bible sermons
Why do people hear the music loud church always treat you like shit?

I work at a large office and many of my colleagues, to visit the churches Bapatist hear chruch music extrmely loudly and frequently to read their Bibles and scrupture are at work. They love to sermons from Sunday on Monday and to discuss on Thursday Bible study. But gossip to treat customers like trash, these people often found sleeping with married men, fornication, lying be to have heard ditches, etc. I'm sorry, Kirk Franklin, and others extrmemly Hezaki Walker played only according to the same person treat me and others like the dirt on the Ground. I would like from people who listen to loud music, church and attend Baptist churches!

Babe, I regret to inform you that Christians especially Baptists, have a monopoly on the truth. Whatever they do or say, is good good good, by definition, because somewhere in the Bible, God told them it is their Christian duty to others to offend them drive away from God. Apparently, heaven is running out of the room, and God wants Christians to lower expectations ASAP. ;-)

The Bible as It Was

The Bible as It Was

$30

“> This is a guide to the Hebrew Bible unlike any other. Leading us chapter by chapter through its most important stories–from the Creation and the Tree of Knowledge through the Exodus from Egypt and the journey to the Promised Land–James Kugel shows how a group of anonymous, ancient interpreters radically transformed the Bible and made it into the book that has come down to us today. > Was the snake in the Garden of Eden the devil, or the Garden itself “paradise”? Did Abraham discover monotheism, and was his son Isaac a willing martyr? Not until the ancient interpreters set to work. Poring over every little detail in the Bible’s stories, prophecies, and laws, they let their own theological and imaginative inclinations radically transform the Bible’s very nature. Their sometimes surprising interpretations soon became the generally accepted meaning. These interpretations, and not the mere words of the text, “became” the Bible in the time of Jesus and Paul or the rabbis of the Talmud. > Drawing on such sources as the Dead Sea Scrolls, ancient Jewish apocrypha, Hellenistic writings, long-lost retellings of Bible stories, and prayers and sermons of the early church and synagogue, Kugel reconstructs the theory and methods of interpretation at the time when the Bible was becoming the bedrock of Judaism and Christianity. Here, for the first time, we can witness all the major transformations of the text and recreate the development of the Bible “As It Was” at the start of the Common era–the Bible as we know it.”

Baptist Theology: A Four-Century Study

$55

“In this book the fullness of the Baptist experience in Christian higher education is explored, charted, and analyzed. Beginning with the establishment in 1756 of the Academy and reaching to the present the author explores the need for Baptists to pursue education and the types of schools they founded. Included are colleges, universities, manual labor schools, literary and theological institutions, theological schools, and bible colleges. Special attention is given to women and higher education and the Black Baptist achievements. Details are provided about what makes a Baptist school Baptist: charters, trustees, presidents, support, church accountability. Chapters at the end of the typological and chronological narratives ponder the meaning of denominational education at present, with suggestions about the future of “faith-based” institutions and the failure of contemporary literature to attend properly to Baptist idiosyncrasies.”
